I started following the Orchestra di Via Padova ever since I first knew that my music teacher Abdoullay Traoré was playing in this multiethnic formation. The group was born in 2006 in my hometown, Milano, and takes its name from one of the most diversely populated areas of the city. At the moment it has published two albums and counts 19 musicians from 9 different countries. I took these photos at a concert in Milano, on 23 May 2010.
